As we are a training practice, we often have a
GP registrar working with us for a limited period of time (e.g. six
months). A registrar is an experienced doctor who is completing
their final stages of specialist GP training.
Occasionally, a medical student sits with a doctor to observe a
surgery. We feel experience of general practice is an important part
of training for medical students, who may be future general
practitioners! However, if you feel you would not wish a student to
be present during your consultation, please inform the doctor at the
time.
There may also be times when visitors are with
us for work shadow purposes or to check the quality of our service.
Again, anyone affected by such visits will be informed.
