Travel Health Advice and Vaccination
We are able to offer health advice and travel
vaccinations to patients planning to travel abroad.
You will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire about your trip, in advance
of your appointment, to ensure that the nurse has the information
she needs to advise you appropriately.
Please arrange to see the practice
nurse at least 6 weeks before you travel, as some courses of
vaccination require more than one dose and some may not be effective
immediately.
Most, but not all, vaccinations are available free of charge to our patients on the NHS, you will be advised of charges if they apply.
